2008's first work weekend was a huge success. Chris Sallows has again assembled a cast of hard working volunteers that want to help camp in it's cleanup efforts. Camp is looking better and better. As you can see from the following pictures, almost all the area's around camp have been cleared. With one major project to be accomplished before summer camp opens, you should see how good camp looks.

Thanks to those that volunteered and worked: Chris Sallows, Lowell Amos, Tom Raubolt, Joe Roman, Dave Meeker, Bonnie and Kal Waxman, Pete Fournier, Sarah Klehr, Todd Ferry, Sara Silverlee, Craig Lee, Susan Hodgin, Steve Nelson, Rachael and Ryan McDaniel and Ed Levy.

The project that still needs to be done is the final ground erosion protection system. The final grading from the Haunted House all the way to the Coop - yes, the Coop, needs to be accomplished. More than $100,000 will be needed to accomplish tremendous task. But we promise to have it all done before the spring outdoor education programs and summer camp begins.

The following picture show how much of the damaged areas have been cleared. What once was forest is now open areas. Soon the final grading will begin - stop by and see how good camp looks. There will be another work weekend on June 6-7&8th. Please come, enjoy a day of golf, help with some light projects around camp, and enjoy seeing some of your old friends.
