Dear Alumni:

Camp's Spring Outdoor Education program is here and our Summer Program is just around the corner. Many of you have again helped the camp by sending in your 2008 Alumni Association dues. (Join Today) There's lots going on at camp and let me try to bring you up to date. Presently, the camp is taking bids on some major erosion projects that could account for more than $100,000.00 in expenditures. The area's that need work are in front of Cabins 1&2, 3&4 and going to Cabin 5&6. We lost so many trees in this area that the soil in exposed to the rain and now the soil is attempting to wash down the hill toward the lake. The same is true behind the Powder Room - going up the hill all the way to Obenchain Lodge. Another area of concern is the hill going down to the Coop. All these area's need some landscaping and some water retention ponds built. Moving the dirt will begin soon, he hope to have pictures for you to see in the next couple of weeks.

We have begun work on trying to get program area's cleaned up. Many many volunteers have come to help with the cleanup and things are looking good. We also will begin our cleanup of the bathrooms . . . . our greatest effort after fixing the erosion project - this is another reason we need you to join the Association - we need the funds for capital improvements. Sooo - please join today if you already haven't.

I have one more request! If everyone in the Alumni Association could get just one more person to join - we'd be able to do twice as much to help camp. Ask your friends today if they are members - if not - please send them to the web page to join or send me their name and address and I will write them a letter. Twice as many, produces twice as much.

Thanks to all of you that have helped in the past - are helping today and are finding new members for the future.  (Join Today)

Very Sincerely Yours,

Edward C. Levy, President
