My Dearest Friends:

There are many times in Life that a person cannot find the words to express what they would like and want to say. This is one of those time's for me.

As I read over the [Alumni] Membership Form that was sent to me as an Alumni of Camp Eberhart and the selections of dues that a person could choose from. Of course the memories of each year of the 12-years that I attended Camp Eberhart came forth. From the tents on the lake front to the summers that the High Road and Low Road became a vital part of the camp with it's stone cabins and more. As I looked down to the selection - Camp Really Made an Impression on My Life - In several e-mails that I have sent in the past, as I type, Camp Eberhart is and will always be the core of my Life. At the age of 70 with 36-years of teaching behind me, it was a continuation of the years as a counselor and staff members and working with the quality of others that Camp Eberhart introduced me to throughout the years.

Enclosed, you will find a check with an additional check to follow in the near future. While I am still living in New Jersey, it is my intention to return to South Bend area and in a sense return to my roots. While I know that the Camp has many changes, it still is Camp Eberhart and it is a must to return to visit while I am able. The greatest gift that I found and left Camp Eberhart was God through his work of nature. Camp Eberhart is in general a Chapel of God's Handy Work from the tree's to the waterfront.

With My Deepest Appreciation For Camp Eberhart and God's Gift To Me.
